Hello world. I’m Dave.

A filmmaker & photographer based in the rainy capital that is London.

I love vintage lenses, mid century design and spicy Korean food. Maldon sea salt and Avatar the last Airbender are also high up on the list.

Beyond having a strange array of interests, I work with brands, agencies and production companies to tell captivating stories through visual campaigns.

This either happens as a shooting director or as a photographer (digital & analog). Sometimes it happens as both.

I also direct narrative films, documentaries and music videos.

My work explores the emotional connection between people and the environment that surrounds them.

Intimate high-contrast images, raw textures and elements of the absurd shape an aesthetic that appears stylised yet unfiltered.

Lasting moments that remind us of who we are, and that we are much more similar than we are different.

I’m fluent in both DaVinci Resolve as well as the Adobe Creative Cloud, and as such often take care of the post-production process myself.

With a background in production I work with a talented network of producers and crew making even the most challenging productions a reality through creative collaboration.
